Five Acres is a County Primary School for children between 5 and 11 years. The school shares a spacious site with Five Acres Foundation Stage (Nursery school). Both schools share the same headteacher.


The pupils mainly come from within the parish boundaries of Blackthorn, Ambrosden, Arncott, Merton and Piddington, however some parents choose to bring their children from Bicester. The number of pupils on roll in the summer term is usually around 220.


Ambrosden is a small village located next to an Army Garrison approximately 2 miles south east of Bicester. The school has a long tradition of partnership with the Garrison. Approximately 50% of our pupils are from service families.
